THREE VALLEYS LANDCARE GROUP INC.

Annual General Meeting

Saturday, 3pm, November 6th, 2021

Martha Babineau’s Place, 1300 Putty Valley Road, Putty, 2330

Dear Landcarers,

I hope this finds you and your loved ones safe and well.  Several members have expressed concern after reading the Health Department’s fine print, making it clear Covid-19 travel restrictions will continue until November 1st for those who wish to “leave Greater Sydney and enter regional and rural NSW”.  Putty is just beyond the ascribed Greater Sydney travel area.  So, after a number of attempts to stage our AGM we’ve had to postpone it one last time, pushing it back a week, to November 6th.  Please accept my apologies.

Martha Babineau has kindly made her place available for the AGM.  Apart from the lovely view from her verandah, she’s promising scones.

Please open the Draft Agenda and Draft 2020 AGM Minutes.  If there’s anything I’ve left out or you’d like included or amended I’d be grateful if you let me know.

Apart from reports from the President and Treasurer, we’ll be looking at the state of the Putty Creek Restoration Project after the floods and our continued strong association with Landcare NSW, Lower Hunter Landcare Network, Local Land Services and National Parks.  We will also be discussing grant opportunities with the Hunter Local Land Services Senior Officer, Carolyn Jenkinson.

Nominations for the positions of all office bearers can be forwarded to the Secretary, Jane Robinson, and will also be accepted at the meeting.  After four years as your president, it’s time to let someone else take up the reins.  I would like to thank all members for the support they’ve given me through some interesting times.

I’ll be forwarding all relevant reports over the next week.  I look forward to seeing you at the AGM.

Best wishes,

Ian David
